Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to build and maintain robust data pipelines, integrate data sources, and support data governance efforts. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, consistent data infrastructure across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable data pipelines and integration flows.
- Develop, maintain, and improve data warehouse systems and data marts.
- Perform performance tuning and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with teams to understand reporting needs and build required datasets.
- Diagnose and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Document processes and provide recommendations for optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer.
- Certification: Google Professional Data Engineer or Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
- Skilled in SQL, Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
- Strong grasp of data warehousing architecture (MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, ED).
